The Program

We begin on Thursday, March 27th, with the first yoga session at 5:30 pm (arrival from 3:00 pm) and conclude on Sunday, March 31st, after lunch at 2:00 pm.

Each morning, we awaken with guided meditation and mindful yogic breath work, designed to cleanse the body both physically and energetically while uplifting the spirit. After a nourishing breakfast, we transition into dynamic Vinyasa Yoga flows that build strength, balance, and vitality. The sequences are carefully crafted and built up step-by-step, focusing on alignment to ensure that the body’s energy can move freely, unlocking deep healing potential.

You’ll be guided through a variety of enriching practices:

  • 1x 90 minute gentle flow yoga, meditation, savasana with sound
  • 3x 90 minute morning yoga: dynamic flow
  • 3x 45 minute early morning breathwork + meditation
  • 2x 90 min afternoon yoga:  gentle flow & sound bath,  yin yoga, & yoga nidra

In the dynamic Vinyasa classes, we focus on different areas of the body, energy centers, and the aspects of life they correspond to, exploring the deep connection between body and mind. The poses and sequences are gradually built, offering an inclusive and engaging practice that nourishes and benefits all levels.

During the afternoons, we immerse ourselves in the healing practices of soothing Yin Yoga for deep tissue release, dive deep into guided meditation (Yoga Nidra), and enjoy a slow flow that encourages deep relaxation. To enhance the experience, we surrender to an immersive sound bath, where the healing vibrations of crystal bowls and mantra chanting guide you into a state of profound calm.

Classes are held in English unless all the participants speak German.

The Place

Breitenteicher Mühle is situated in a tranquil nature reserve on the edge of the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve, about 90 km north of Berlin. The transformation of this historic mill into a retreat center was guided by a holistic vision. The mill was carefully restored in compliance with heritage conservation standards, using locally sourced, eco-friendly building materials. The property generates green electricity via a water wheel and generator powered by the Welse river, and the self-sustaining water supply and ecological wastewater treatment ensure the mill's independence from external sources. With this setup, the site maintains a positive energy balance.

The seminar house within this beautifully restored water mill provides a sanctuary for workshops and retreats focused on personal growth and development, offering a peaceful space for deep concentration and transformative mind-body practices.

The Accommodation

Breitenteicher Mühle consists of two beautifully restored buildings: the grand historic mill and the smaller miller’s house. The old mill offers six comfortable double rooms and three shared bathrooms, with two double rooms sharing each bathroom. In the miller’s house, you’ll find additional double rooms, including a large double room with a private bathroom, as well as a spacious shared room with four beds and its own bathroom.

The atmosphere throughout is warm and inviting, blending traditional architecture with modern, elegant interior design. Each room is thoughtfully furnished, with well-restored bathrooms and single beds that can be arranged together for couples.

The Food

Our retreat offers full board with delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen prepares homemade vegetarian and vegan organic meals, primarily using locally sourced ingredients. The fruit and berry garden, along with on-site beekeeping and a vegetable garden, allows for partial self-sufficiency. We are proud to share that after hosting many retreats at this wonderful location, participants have consistently praised the food, often calling it one of the highlights of their experience—leaving them carefree and fully nourished!

We cater to all dietary preferences. Please let us know about any allergies when you book.
